Zhe Ding

Howdy, I’m Zhe! I’m a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Texas A&M University, advised by Prof. Meng Xia.

My research lies at the intersection of human–computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and education. I am broadly interested in designing intelligent and adaptive interactive systems that better understand and support human needs. My current work focuses on AI for education, particularly on how generative AI and AI agents can understand students’ learning processes, recognize when learners struggle, and provide personalized and scalable support in classroom settings.
